Sleeping through the night

Finally, Dj has slept through the night. I couldn't be more happy. I put her to bed at 9 and she didn't wake up until 5:00am this morning. She would have slept if I had let her. I'm so proud of my little girl.

Mrs. Gloria at day care has been feeding her rice cereal twice a day with water and she LOVES it.

Three Month Photo Shoot!

At three months Dj and I went to JC Penny and got some great shots from Natalia at the Main Place mall. We had a great time. Three outfits later Dj finally started getting fussy so I knew it was time to go home.

Back to Work

Thursday (August 19th) was my first day back to work. All I kept thinking about was Dj. Was she sleeping and eating while I was away? I was so Thankful to have Justin's Mom take care of her. There is nothing like Gramma to take care of your baby.


Dj had a little hard time adjusting to the bottle. Gramma said she copied how I breast feed her with the Boppy and she was right at home eating away. There is no way that day care would have known that.



Friday was a much easier day I was able to focus more on work knowing that she is comfortable. It is never going to be easy to leave her all day but at least the first day is over with.

Visit with Cade in July

This was a fun playdate with Michelle and her mom just after she had her son Cade. Shannon introduced me to Michelle a couple of years back and recently reconnected after finding out we were both pregnant at the same time. Thanks Shannon. Michelle and her son Cade are going to be a great playdate in the future years.

Visit with Jodi, June, and Jayne in August

I'm headed back to work on August 18th and Jodi, June and Jayne came out for one last visit before I go back to work. I'm so sad to go back. Thankfully Justin's mom came to my rescue and will be watching Dj until September 1st. At least that will give me time to get adjusted to my work schedule.

I took some cute video of Jodi trying to take pictures with the babies and Jayne. We finally had everyone up at the same time but it didn't work. At least we have this cute video.
